<Eligibility Criteria>

For Students

① Undergraduate students are principally eligible to participate, and only undergraduate students may serve as team leaders.

② Graduates may participate if they have graduated within one year from the application date. In teams including graduates, students on leave of absence, or graduate students, at least 50% of the team members must be currently enrolled undergraduate students.

③ Graduate student participation is limited to 1 or 2 members per team. However, up to 3 graduate students may be allowed with prior approval from the Organizing Committee.

④ Students may participate in both the 1/2-scale and 1/5-scale competitions. However, if a student also wishes to participate in the 1/10-scale competition, the 1/10 team must consist of separate members. Failure to separate team members for the 1/10 competition may result in disqualification.

Regarding the Faculty Advisor

① The faculty advisor and all participants must sign the on-site registration sheet during the competition period to verify attendance and participation.

② If the faculty advisor is unable to attend the event due to unavoidable circumstances, a graduate student from the same institution may be designated as a delegate. In this case, a Letter of Delegation must be submitted in advance.

※ Graduate students serving as delegates may not participate as team members in the competition.

③ If it is not possible to appoint a graduate student as a delegate, a Letter of Commitment and a Remote Supervision Request Form must be submitted in advance.

※ In such cases, remote supervision by the faculty advisor via phone will be accepted. However, during the competition, if the advisor cannot be reached immediately (within 3 attempts or within 60 seconds, including while on another call or during automatic voicemail activation) when required (e.g., for objections or urgent issues), the team will be disqualified due to disruption of competition proceedings. Please be advised.

④ Only the faculty advisor or the officially delegated representative (with a submitted Letter of Delegation) may raise objections on-site.

⑤ If one faculty advisor supervises multiple teams, each team must submit a Letter of Delegation, and the same delegate may be appointed for all teams.

<Detailed Competition Regulations>

① All teams must submit their vehicles before the competition begins, and no adjustments or modifications are allowed until the race starts. Teams may handle their vehicles only once they enter the waiting group.

② The waiting group consists of 3 teams. When one team starts racing, another team enters the waiting group to maintain three teams at all times.

③ Once the race begins, teams are not allowed to touch their vehicles. If a vehicle leaves the lane and cannot return on its own, the team will be disqualified.

④ There is no preliminary round. The final score will be the better score from two main rounds.

⑤ The competition order is determined by a draw conducted by the team leaders. Teams draw numbered slips from a box; the number on the slip corresponds to the order of the first round. The second round will proceed in the reverse order.

⑥ The competition officially starts at 9:00 AM sharp. After a brief opening ceremony, rules meeting, announcements, and the order draw, the first round will begin immediately. The start time for the second round will be decided based on the on-site situation after the first round concludes. Teams that arrive late and disrupt the event may receive point deductions.

⑦ Practice runs are optional and not mandatory. Practice sessions are available on July 10 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. The organizing committee will manage practice times and order according to on-site conditions.

⑧ Faculty advisors and their designated graduate student delegates must be present on-site from the start to the end of the competition.

⑨ On July 11, the competition day, attendance of all team members is required in principle.
